The main setting of the story is the dinner table at the two friends house. I also wanted them to be on the playground when they realized that they have not been to eachothers house. The main setting is when the two friends are at eachothers dinner table (dinner time) and when they are on the play ground (afternoon) because that is when kids usually have recess. The dialogue of the two characters will begin at the recess setting and the weather will be sunny (they are in Jamacia). Like I said before, the dinner table will be where everything is mostly taken place.
Since the story is taken place is Jamacia, the climate is going to be hot. In the folk tale they only had two settings but I want to add a little spice to it and do something a little bit different just to make it more interesting because I do not want the reader to get bored.

It seems like you have a solid setting... I think it's a bit redundant that you keeping mentioning that the setting will be the two friends at the dinner table. Despite all that it seems like a pretty decent story line coming together. Good job!
ReplyDeleteYou need to consider way more to include in setting such as month, year, holidays, seasons, etc. Not simply sitting at a table. And where is the table. Think about Zoom and zoom out in your story.
