Day Thirteen

The message that I am trying to give in my story is very similar to the moral of the story. Friends are always going to be there for you no matter what. So it should not matter if they are rich, poor, tall or short. If they are treating you right and they are being a good friend than all that should not matter. It is funny because I had to learn the same thing. I did not want to be this girls friend because she always wore the same pair of shoes and now we are the best of friends.

If you wish to have true friendship with someone, learn to accept each other's faults, as well as each other's good qualities. Now that is the moral of the story. I think this is a good way to teach kids that friends come in any shape or form. If they learn this now then they will be able to teach their kids and then they can teach their kids.

  1. I so love your message. That is a wonderful message... it is like you do not know what that person is going through so you can not judge them. Good job.!

  2. Awesome message for the kids! :) Keep up the good work.
By the way, I agree with you for the kids to learn about friendship, and how they should not judge them before they get to know them.

  3. I agree with them both... I love your message as well. I'll enjoy hearing about your story more, and also the preparations to writing it. It's great that you're trying to keep the children about real friendship. Good job!

  4. I really like your moral. Throughout these kids lives they will learn that they will always have a friend that will be there with them whenever they need them. They will also learn that some people aren't really your friends and might just be there for what you have. They will learn how to pick the right friends that love them for what they are. [=

  5. I agree with just about every comment here. God moral, wonderful paragraphs, blah blah blah.

Unfortunately, no matter how well you teach your lesson through your story, some children will not learn. As they say, some lessons are better learned the hard way.

    Have a nice day.
